Hey guys! Today I thought I'd throw out a different post for you guys. I'm sharing my favorite beauty/lifestyle Youtubers. I love watching makeup videos, and as a matter of fact, my favorite way to procrastinate doing my homework is by Youtubing (is youtubing a word? Ha oh well...). Yes, Youtube is highly addictive and will 100% eat up your data if you're not on Wifi, but it's so gosh darn fun!!! Haha, something about product reviews and Sephora hauls makes me want to 1) play with makeup 2) spend money on makeup and 3) spend MORE money on makeup-#1 reason why I never have enough money to fill up my tank...Sorry Mom, luv u!!!!!!! :) :) :)
Anyways, I hope you enjoy my top 10 favorite Youtubers and can gain some tips and tricks from their lovely channels.
FACEBOOK: THE LITTLE LACE DRESS
I absolutely love Tati, she is my favorite Youtuber at the moment. She really knows what she is talking about when it comes to makeup. Any product she recommends I automatically want. Tati is definitely not afraid to share her opinion about a product, and that is a great quality to have (especially when in the sponsored world of Youtube).
2. Mariah Leonard
Mariah is another Youtuber that shares exactly what she is thinking. She is super funny and does really unique tutorials. Go check out her channel!
3. Amber Fillerup
I have been a loyal Amber fan for, like, 3 years now. Her family is absolutely perfect, honestly is makes me want to cry. Amber Fillerup's blog is want inspired me to make The Little Lace Dress. I've gotten all my friends obsessed with her- literally all my friends now love/envy her as much as I do. Haha! WARNING: You will fall in love with everything about her life...
4. Alexandrea Garza
I recently stumbled upon Alex Garza's channel. I love her videos; she really knows what she is talking about!
ZOELLA IS SO FRICKEN CUTE. A lot of the beauty gurus on Youtube tend to come off as snobby or superficial, but Zoella is completely herself. I really admire that about her. Go check out her videos!
6. Jaclyn Hill
Jaclyn Hill is basically the person that started makeup videos. With nearly three million subscribers, she never fails to share her intelligence about makeup. She throughly tests every product and gives amazing reviews. Her videos are long, 10-20 minutes, so they are more like episodes. I was chatting with an employee at Sephora the other day, and she said that when Jaclyn Hill released her 2015 Favorite's Video- everything she recommended sold out within the week. That's insane! That really shows how much of an impact she makes on the industry.
7. Nikkie Tutorials
Nikki is hilarious. One of the most entertaining Youtubers, in my opinion. Her video "The Power of MAKEUP!" instantly went viral, reaching over 26 million views. She does really eccentric tutorials, which is really fun to watch.
8. Lauren Curtis
Lauren Curtis was my the first person I started watching on Youtube. She does really pretty tutorials that anyone could do. Lauren mixes high end and drugstore products in her videos so that everyone can achieve her look. Also, HER AUSTRALIAN ACCENT....... IM JEALOUS.
Another really great Youtuber. I wish I could blend my eyeshadow as well as her... holy wow.
10. Jessica Whitaker
Jessica used to live in NYC and go to FIT, and that's when I started watching her videos. She has the best style...omg the best.
Hello, hello, helllllooo!! Today I thought I'd mix things up and share my M.A.C lipstick collection. I love these colors. Obviously certain colors will look better on different skin tones, but for me and my pale (*tears*) skin these colors rock! My favorite lipsticks from my collection are definitely "Velvet Teddy," "Girl About Town," and for winter, "Fashion Revival." I didn't realize it at the time, but I guess "Fashion Revival" was either a seasonal color or discontinued. HOLYYYYY WHYYYY it's so dark and pretty!!! I wore it in my Louisville Magazine spread (click here to see it). Such a great color, I'm still in mourning over M.A.C's loss. I get emotional over lipsticks- probably not healthy, right???
