GET THE LOOK:
With this school year coming to an end, all I can think about are the fun opportunities next year has in store. Senior year... WHAT! Omg, it's going to be like High School Musical 3... (HSM references are always appropriate). Senior year means: sports events, prom, graduation, senior pictures, and tons of fun, like seriously, TONS. If you're anything like me, you love getting your pictures taken. Who wouldn't love getting all dressed up, and taking the cutest? That's exactly why I'm giving my best advice when it comes to taking senior pictures.
what to wear:
When it comes to picking out an outfit I always say that simplicity is key, especially for senior pictures. These are the pictures that you'll look back on years from now to remember this fun time in your life, so you don't want to dress too wacky! Haha. While prints and patterns are fun, you have to think about what will be the most flattering once photographed. For the most part, solid colors will turn out the best and make you look like the skinniest version of yourself!
How to accessorize/style yourself
In the pictures above, I wore a loose solid black v-neck, some jeans, and paired them with my favorite flats. If you don't want your outfit to look too plain, add some accessories to spice things up. I wore my ripped jeans to contrast the all black shirt. To tie everything together, I added my lace up flats to give my look a girly edge-- plus, they are one of my favorite trends right now!
When it comes to loose shirts, I always hesitate before wearing them in pictures. If the camera adds ten pounds, I don't want my shirt to make me look larger than I actually am! To avoid this sudden and, very much, unwanted weight gain just tuck in the front of your shirt! It's the easiest way to make a flowy shirt look flattering.
I hope my tips and tricks helped you! There will be a lot more posts like this coming soon... ;) I can't wait to share everything I have planned for The Little Lace Dress.
