Now I know this isn't my average 'this is what I'm wearing' post, but I thought I'd mix things up and share my trip to Germany! Throughout the next week I will be posting daily updates of my trip. I started my long, long, long long, longgg journey by flying to Munich, Germany. I sat next to a college boy on the plane who probably thought I was 25; but alas no, I am just a wee 16 year old, haha. Going through customs the CUTEST German boy was working the counter... glad I didn't get in line for the automatic check, amirite?? My friend Andie and her family greeted me at the airport along with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. S'cute! Afterwards we drove back to her house through the winding roads of Germany. Everything here is literally so adorable!! Later we died Easter eggs (as shown above). We only cracked one egg... ok maybe 3. Then, I accidentally took a nap... oops! I was just so sleepy (and that's why now I am up in the middle of the night writing this ;) ). While I was snoring away, Andie and her mom made an Easter Lamb. Funny story: when Andie was telling me about the Easter lamb I thought she meant like an actual lamb, like the meat. We LOLED when I realized that it was cake and not meat, haha. Then lastly we went to a traditional Bavarian pub from the 1500's. Since today is the Friday before Easter we weren't aloud to eat meat. So naturally, bring on the carbs!! Pretzels, potatoes, breads, oh my! This pub had just about any form of potato you could imagine. What kind did I get? All, of course! Also- the cheese was omg good. Tomorrow we are headed to Salzburg. WhooHoo!!
Ta-ta for now, Emma
