About the look:
Hello lovelies!! I was going to save this post for Sunday, but because it's a snow day, I thought I'd go ahead and surprise y'all! When I said snow day, I really meant rain day (as of right now)... We are supposed to get up to 12 inches of snow so we had no school today, yay!! If you read my post from a few weeks ago (The Little Lace Dress) you saw that I had the amazing photographer, Sheryll Lynne, take my pictures. Well, she took these too! Aren’t they great? For this post I focused more on my makeup and hairstyle rather than my outfit. Only because most of the things I'm wearing is no longer available. Don’t worry, I linked everything to similar pieces (I got your back haha).
Hair: So this hairstyle is pretty simple. First I just curled my hair- taking a small section and curling from the middle then working your way down. I hope that makes sense. If you guys want me to make a "how I curl my hair" tutorial, comment below and I totally will! Then I took the front section, surrounding my face, and braided it back. After that I just bobby pinned it back. Fairly simple, right?
My makeup wasn’t so tricky either. This look is very bronzy, with a lot of contouring and brown, shimmery eye shadow. To top things off I put on some pinkish-red lipstick. It's kinda crazy, my lips actually looked like a neon pink in person but turned out red on the camera... ah!
My name is Emma Engilman. The goal of my blog is to encourage self confidence and stray away from societies definition of "beauty." I refuse to retouch my appearance in Photoshop, so enjoy my flaws because they make me-- me!
