Last post of 2015, and I don't think I'll ever be OVER ALL of all these overalls. If you haven't noticed, The Little Lace Dress underwent a makeover! Usually the kind of makeover I'd do is with makeup...but The LLD needed some TLC. Welcome to my new site- #new #year #new #me!!!!! It's crazy to think that it's going to be 2016. What. the. heck. I remember being in first grade, sitting in gym glass, thinking about how in 10 years it would be 2016 and that I'd be so old. Time flies when you're having fun & lovin' life. 2016 seems like such a futuristic year, like I thought cars would be flying by now...
2015 is going out with style, amirite? Black overalls provide a simplistic look with an edgy twist. Plus, they are so gosh darn comfortable!! These particular overalls can be dressed up for going out, or styled down for a more, casual, everyday look. I paired these pants with some flats that have straps across the ankle. The strap creates a statement without the overwhelming bombardment of a golden shoe. This kind of shoe is a great trick for my tall girls. Pants too short? Wear a flat or bootie that comes up the ankle to distract from the short pants. Don't worry, if anyone has been in that situation it's me. It's hard being close to six feet and finding the proper length pant!!! In this look I also mixed my metals. Sorry to the haterzzz, yes, I am wearing gold and silver- SUE ME. The silver in my clutch ties in with the silver in my glasses, and the gold on my shoes ties in with my gold ring.
Fun fact about me: Ever wonder why my hair is literally immune to curls? It's because this is my natural hair- no added heat, no nothin'. It's pen flipping straight!! I actually love it when people embrace their natural hair style. My friend, Kaylee, either straightens her hair or puts it up everyday, but recently she has started wearing it natural. She has such pretty curly hair, I love it! EMBRACE YOUR HAIR LADIEZ!
Talk to ya next year,
