I hope my excessive posting isn't bothering you, I just really want to share my trip with y'all! So today we went to Salzburg, Austria. This was my second time going, and it was equally, if not more, great. We woke up this morning and ate a fabulous- pretzel filled- breakfast.... Pretzels? Don't mind if I do, haha. Afterwards we hopped on a train and started our journey to Salzburg. I love the German country; it is just so beautiful with all the old houses, ugh love! We then took the bus to the city center where two girls dressed as Easter bunnies were handing out chocolates. Haha, chocolate- they know the way to my heart. Once in the center of Salzburg we did a little, more like a lot, of shopping. However, I'm not complaining, I'm a girl that LOVES to shop. I think Andie will agree haha. We went to Zara, a store called Mango, and so many more shops I can't even remember. We then sat down to eat apple strudel. OMG can you say yummy?? Then we did a little more shopping, some chocolate eating, more shopping, more eating (and repeat). We also got a wiener schnitzel. It was my first time having one and now I'm wondering when I can have it again! Delicious! Andie told me that I didn't truly visit Austria if I didn't have an apple strudel and a wiener schnitzel, check and check! We got to visit the home of Mozart. It was crazy just thinking that he actually lived there! We got to visit a store called Christmas in Salzburg. If you are going to Salzburg this is a must! It was incredible. Christmas and Easter eggs each decorated by hand. I wanted to buy the whole store! I have absolutely no idea how I am going to get the eggs home without breaking, but if theres a will theres a way! Haha. I told Andie that I wanted Birkenstocks and I'm pretty sure she thought I was insane haha. They kind of look like grandma shoes but I love them! A must for this spring/summer, especially when I am in NYC, right? Anyways, I found them at this cute little store. This store also sold Campomaggi, and I just about died when I saw that. NOTE TO TRAVELERS: I'm not sure if it is like this everywhere, but I got my Birks for $77 (about 66 Euros I think). That is awesome because in the USA they are over $100! So, if you are coming to Europe and want a pair, be on the look out. I also saw those goofy shoes (in the picture above), lol please never wear those, they were so weird! We then took the train home and has a movie night! What's better than Milka chocolate and Clueless? (the answer is nothing).
Goodbye my friends! I am off to bed, talk to you tomorrow!
