Hello, hello, hello!! Welcome to my all new weekly post: Tutorial Tuesday. I am really excited to start incorporating tutorials into my blog. So basically, once a week I will post some sort of tutorial, it could be makeup, hair, or DIY, but on Sunday I will continue with my usual fashion posts. I'm open to all suggestion, so if you have anything in mind email me or comment below and I will try to do it! Here is my email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Recently I got the NAKED Basics Palette by Urban Decay. It is a matte palette with one somewhat shimmery shade. If you don't own any Urban Decay products you are missing out. They make the best eyeshadows. If you have seen one of my more recent posts, you will notice that I just got the new Urban Decay Smoky Palette, and I use it all the time.... I'm obsessed with makeup, SOS.
Step 1: After you have applied your favorite eyeshadow primer, blend the shade 'Naked 2' in the crease and right above the crease. This will act as the transition shade for other colors.
Step 2: OK FOXY LADIES, next apply the color 'Foxy' to the inner half of the lid. This will highlight and brighten the eyes... I'm okay with that.
Step 3: Now use the color 'Faint' and blend it into the crease make it look deeper and to create more depth.
Step 4: TIME FOR THE TRICKY PART!!
While using black eyeshadow there are two possible outcomes:
1) It looks hecka and you feel like the hot thing that you truly are.
2) It goes everywhere leaving you with a painless black eye... Haha!
It's actually not that hard, you just have to use a really light hand while doing it. Take a blending brush (the M.A.C 244 brush is AMAZING, but in this tutorial I am using the one that came with the Naked 2 palette) and lightly, LIGHTLY, blend the color 'Crave' into the lower crease and outer eye. Blend it in a circular motion.
Step 5: Using the color 'Faint,' stroke it under the waterline.
Step 6: HIGHLIGHT TIL YOU CAN'T HIGHLIGHT ANYMORE BOO THANG... Take 'Venus' and apply it under the arch of the eyebrows so your brows are on fleek. You can also put it in the inner corner of the eyes to brighten them.
Apply a little eyeliner and mascara and you are all done! Now you can go on with your day and feel 100% fierce. WORK IT GIRL.
